Chai Circle: Natalia Graf

For our next Chai Circle muse, we shift into a different kind of frequency; one carried by rhythm and intuition.
Meet Natalia Graf: a cycling coach and a woman whose presence feels synced to both music and the sea. She has that unmistakable Stevie Nicks spirit; the kind of energy that feels free, grounded, and magnetic.
There’s something singular about the way she moves through the world: the calm of waves, the pulse of a bassline, the warmth of a 70s sun drenched afternoon. She has a presence that feels both anchored and quietly otherworldly.
When she speaks about anything you hear rhythm in her words. Her style is instinctive; her energy, unmistakably her own. A woman guided by routine, intuition, and a quiet kind of sea magic.
Shot once again on my Olympus X-815, Natalia brings to Chai Circle a mood that feels like golden hour at the edge of the ocean still, timeless, and softly powerful.
How would you describe your style in three words?
Relaxed, simple and spontaneous
When did you start to feel that you found “your style”?
I wouldn't say I have a defined style. I like to wear whatever feels right at the moment. My way of dressing changes with me; it depends a lot on what stage of life I'm in, on my mood that day. In the end, it's a way of showing who I am today, knowing that tomorrow I might feel different.
What inspires you when you get dressed? (people, cities, eras, etc.)
More than being inspired by someone or something, I'm guided a lot by my feelings. How I imagine I'm going to feel wearing a certain garment. There are those days when I wake up full of energy, when I dress with more intention, playing a bit with colors, textures, accessories, etc., but realistically there are also those exhausting days when all I want is to feel comfortable. So I would say that more than inspiration, my way of dressing is a constant dialogue with how I feel.
What do you wear when you want to feel more like yourself?
Something loose, more flowy. I was born in Cancun and grew up surrounded by the sea, in a very free environment. Since I was little, I've been drawn to clothes that feel light, that breathe not just in the literal sense. I like that vibe, half tropical, half boho, very much guided by simplicity.
And what about when you don't know what to wear?
Gymwear or loungewear, lots of black and neutral colors. I don't overthink it, I just wear what I like and that I know at that moment it will make me feel comfortable.
How would you like people to perceive you through your clothes?
As someone approachable but with nuances; that they perceive the warmth and simplicity of my personality, but also my judgment and sensitivity.
What garment or accessory has the most history in your closet?
I'm not particularly attached to the clothes or accessories I wear every day, but I am an extremely nostalgic and sensitive person. Just as a song can transport you back to a time in your life, the same thing happens to me when I open my closet and find a garment I haven't seen in a long time. I like to return to that moment, remember who I was then, and relive, for a moment, everything that stage meant: the people around me, what motivated me, what I felt. All of that comes back, somehow, through something as simple as a piece of clothing.
What perfume do you feel defines you?
Sutileza by Loewe, as its name suggests, is subtle. It's fresh, perfect for everyday wear, very light and feminine because it has a floral touch. Summer is my favorite time of year, when I feel most connected to my essence, and it's just that. This perfume transports me to that moment when I feel lighter, freer, and more fulfilled. I think it's very much in line with my personality, and it's one of those perfumes that makes you feel a little more like yourself when you wear it.
If your style were a movie or character, what would it be?
Daisy Jones and the Six
Who is your style muse or your “fashionista spirit”?
the vibe of the 60’s-70s, a very free and intuitive style.
What song or playlist would be the soundtrack to your style?
It's a difficult question, because music is a pillar in my life; practically everything I do is accompanied by it. But if I had to choose, I'd say Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd or the album Rumours by Fleetwood Mac. Two bands that have shaped my identity.
What does dressing well mean to you?
Feeling comfortable in my own skin. Having an outfit that makes me feel confident and motivates me to do everything I have to do each day, with a positive attitude!
Finish the sentence: My style is…
Grounded
